Mike Creamer on movement, resilience, and building long-term strength through Ovrload.
Mike Creamer doesn’t talk about fitness in terms of aesthetics or quick wins. For him, it’s always been about something deeper, how we move, how we feel, and how capable we are in everyday life.
Mike brings over 16 years of experience in the fitness industry, supported by a Master’s in Sport and Exercise Medicine, a BSc Honours in Sport Science, and years spent working in strength and conditioning across semi-professional rugby and higher education. But while his credentials are impressive, it’s his philosophy that truly sets him apart.
Ovrload was created from Mike’s belief that there’s a growing disconnect between exercising and being genuinely healthy.
“I saw a gap between fitness and wellbeing,” he explains. “People were training hard, but not necessarily moving well or feeling strong in real life. Ovrload is about creating fit, healthy, robust individuals, people who feel confident in their bodies and resilient in everyday situations.”
From its humble beginnings in a smaller space, Ovrload continues to expand its footprint, building a loyal membership, and earning a strong reputation locally. But growth was never the main goal. Mike’s focus has always been on culture, creating an environment where people feel supported, educated, and empowered.
In a world obsessed with instant results, Mike’s message feels refreshingly grounded, move better, feel stronger, stay curious, and keep showing up. Because true fitness isn’t about transformation photos, it’s about building a body that supports the life you want to live.
